NextStep Health Provides Agents’ Customers with Concierge-Style Primary Care
New Direct Primary Care product aligns with agent needs and upcoming HSA legislation
Premier Health Solutions has launched NextStep Health, a flexible, nationwide Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership that simplifies how people access healthcare. With broad state availability and affordable monthly pricing, it’s a strong addition to any agent’s portfolio, especially as clients look for meaningful benefits they can actually use.
“NextStep Health represents the kind of forward-looking solution today’s agents are asking for,” said Bejoe Mathew, Chief Sales Officer at PHS. “It’s high-value, service-driven, and easy to position alongside traditional health or supplemental plans. Agents want tools that add real value for their clients, and this is one of them.”
Built Around Access, Simplicity, and Support
NextStep Health delivers more than just urgent care or virtual access. It combines in-person primary care, 24/7 telemedicine, bilingual care navigation, and chronic condition management into a single, easy-to-use membership.
Highlights include:
- Unlimited primary care and urgent care visits through the Private Physician Network
- $0 virtual consults available anytime, anywhere
- A bilingual Patient Advocacy Line to schedule care and guide members
- Chronic disease support for conditions like diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
- Exclusive discounts at CVS MinuteClinic and over 65,000 pharmacies
- Memberships starting at $99 per month, with two plan options: Value and Plus
Appointments are coordinated through the Patient Advocacy Line, creating a concierge-style experience. NextStep Health is not insurance, but it is designed to complement traditional plans or function as a stand-alone option for everyday care.
“Agents know their clients want healthcare to be simpler and more transparent,” Mathew added. “This membership gives them an easy way to say yes to care.”
Positioned for Growth with Supportive Legislation
The launch of NextStep Health comes at an ideal time. New federal legislation under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R.1) expands how Americans can use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Dependent Care FSAs. Key changes taking effect in 2025 and 2026 include:
- DPC arrangements like NextStep Health will be HSA-eligible, allowing individuals and families to pay monthly fees using pre-tax dollars
- Telehealth will be permanently allowed without affecting HSA eligibility, effective retroactively to January 1, 2025
- Bronze and Catastrophic ACA plans will qualify for HSA use, broadening access for more consumers
- DC-FSA limits will increase for the first time in decades, adjusting to $7,500 per household
“These regulatory shifts are incredibly positive for the market,” said Michael Krzysiak, President and Chief Financial Officer at Premier Health Solutions. “We are positioning PHS and our agents for success in a healthcare landscape that rewards access, flexibility, and transparency.”
Krzysiak added, “This product is part of our long-term strategy to evolve with the market while maintaining our commitment to service and compliance. We want to grow with agents who are equally focused on doing right by their clients.”
A Strategic Partner for Agents Nationwide
NextStep Health is available across the United States, with the exception of Maryland, South Dakota, and Vermont. The product is designed to work together with other benefits, and customer clinic access can be confirmed by ZIP code.
“This isn’t just a product launch. It’s part of our larger mission to be a strategic partner for agents navigating an evolving marketplace,” Mathew said. “We want our agents to feel confident that they’re backed by a team who understands both the customer and the regulations.”
